I have finally finished all 42 scrap blocks I am going to quilt each block and then sew them together

I used flannel for the back to make it nice and cozy. Put the backing right side down then batting which should be 1/2 inch smaller ,then put top right side up ,pin to keep from slipping and quilt make sure to stay about an inch away from the edges so you can join the block together.

 Now pin backs of 2 blocks right sides together make sure batting and fronts are out of the way and sew

 turn under 1/4 inch of one side of top and slip stich closed catching only top layer I do all the blocks in rows first and then sew rows together
